my toddler

yup, holden's walking. he has been the past few days. each day he gets better and better. he's so proud of himself. for some reason it seems that walking is much more fun with something in your hands. typically it's a remote or a phone. i love seeing him beaming with pride and the mischievous twinkle in his eye and he heads for something off limits. at the same time, i miss the tiny blob of baby he was at this time last year. it went so fast.

here is a picture of holden and i at the beach on father's day. he's started giving hugs and kisses which is so sweet. now if i can just teach him to stop headbutting when he comes in for a smooch!
